Our high-end brand client in Cheltenham is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join them in delivering luxury experiences with charm, passion, integrity and style.

This is an exciting role, with responsibilities including:

• Work with the Director of Marketing (and SEO agency where applicable) to create an on-going 12-month optimisation strategy with clearly defined goals.
• Ensure the website is fully optimised, including site structure and content, optimisation of photos, internal links, meta descriptions, on-page copy and titles and resolving any technical blockages.
• Write and commission relevant content for the website and appropriate third party sites to improve search engine rankings.
• Regularly monitor backlinks to the website and competitor sites.
• Identify and implement link-building opportunities to broaden the backlink profile, working with the appointed PR agencies where appropriate.
• Regularly measure keyword rankings for identified terms and implement action to improve rankings that require improvement.
• Regularly monitor visits to ‘goal pages’ within the site, and subsequent conversions.

• Work with the Director of Marketing and appointed agency to ensure appropriate allocation of budget to maximise return on spend.
• Track paid traffic and adjust activity accordingly.
• Proactively seek new paid search marketing opportunities.

• Create new pages, ensuring accurate synchronisation of product information from the product database, addition of appropriate photographs, correct links and formatting.
• Check the creation of new pages by other members of the team for broken links, appropriate tags and optimisation issues.
• Create new blog articles to support content marketing and link building activity.
• Ensure the content management system is maintained to a high level, with no duplicate or out-of-date content.
• Work with website developers to improve on-line conversion.

• In consultation with the Marketing Director, plan and schedule a programme of social media posts using a range of sites including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Ensure full advantage of all media coverage is achieved through links and social media posts.
• Regularly measure reach and monitor feedback.

• Liaise with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Communications Manager to coordinate activities to ensure on-line/off-line campaigns with seamless messages.
• Monthly report on digital marketing activity, outcomes and plans.
• Any other duties that might arise in a small, dynamic Company that fosters a close-knit, mutually supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have 4-5 years experience within a digital marketing environment with a strong understanding of Google Analytics and managing AdWord and Bing campaigns. An excellent copywriter, they'll also need to have an eye for captivating, inspiring photography and a numeric mind for shaping strategy and analysing statistics.

Experience working with luxury brands is advantageous, but not essential.
