Electrical Maintenance Engineer Required.

You will be maintaining and supporting both the repairs workshop and the site for electrical problems.
Your main work activities will be
• Repairs, maintenance and electrical inspection and testing of workshop equipment.
• Fault find electro mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic machines to control circuit level.
• Maintain workbench air lines and fittings.
• Wiring of customer three phase separation machines for functional and vibration testing.
• Design, installation, inspection and testing of new electrical circuits in accordance with current edition of the wiring regulations.
• Management of workshop equipment maintenance and calibration processes, including cranes, forklifts, air compressors, machine tools, welding plant, cleaning booths, pressure washers and LEV
• Repair and maintain site lighting, emergency light and power circuits.
You will also act as a support to other departments as required, for example IT network cabling projects and QSHE RAMS assessments. You will also support our field service engineers as required with electrical installations and electrical equipment and PAT testing of equipment.

Who you are
You will have worked in a similar role, providing on site industrial/electrical maintenance across a variety of aspects. This is a sole post so you must be confident to work independently, planning your own schedules and working off your own initiative.
Confident dealing with all levels of staff, you will work with QSHE and workshop staff to ensure work is carried out in a safe and timely manner whilst reducing the impact on workshop operations.
You will be confident to support other members of staff and be the expert on electrical requirements.

What you need
City & Guilds 2360 Parts one and two, or NVQ Level 3 Electro Technical and City & Guilds 2391, or earlier equivalents.

Additionally you will have completed your IET 17th Edition wiring regulations. City & Guilds 2377 PAT testing would be desirable, as would JIB/ECS Grade: Approved Electrician.

You will have an understanding of the electrical requirements for a variety of workshop equipment, including cranes, forklifts, air compressors, machine tools, welding plant, cleaning booths, pressure washers and LEV.
