Vacancy: Aftermarket Sales Manager

Location: Peterborough

Salary Range: £50,000 to £60,000 plus Car Allowance, 6% Pension, Life Insurance, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Reason for Vacancy: New Position (Strategic Growth Plan)

We are looking for an Aftermarket Sales Manager to support the growth and development of the Aftermarket division within an engineering business in Peterborough.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Generate and develop sales revenue within spare parts and service contracts
* Help deliver the strategic sales plans (double Aftermarket T/O within the next five years) and bring new ideas to enhance the sales plan
* Work heavily in identifying agents and distribution channels worldwide
* Key Account Management- starting off with a handful and developing this as time goes on
* Identifying new markets and revenue streams
* Updating and presenting the management board with sales forecasts and results

Your Background and Experience:

* An engineering qualification is preferred
* A successful track record in aftermarket sales, parts, service etc
* Experienced in selling rotating equipment and other mechanical products, ideally within Oil and Gas or Power Generation markets
* Some key account management experience would be beneficial
* International Agent/Distributor management experience is important
* The ability to sell a large one-off piece of equipment through to the nuts and bolts

The Opportunity:

Office based role with 30% travel worldwide. The company is a medium-sized business that's going through growth. Their plan is to double the aftermarket business around the world, based out of Peterborough. There will be opportunities for you to grow into more senior positions and develop sales teams as the company expands. This is a new position so you will be able to forge a clear path for your own development while supporting an enthusiastic and capable sales team to achieve the company's strategic plan.

Remuneration Package:

Depending on experience and the natural fit to this position you will be offered a starting salary of between £50,000 and £60,000. You will also receive a Car Allowance, 6% Pension, Life Insurance, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
