Our Client who are a Charitable organisation based in Hove, are offering a fantastic opportunity for a IT 1st Line Support Technician, to start ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis.

In this position you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of 1st line support to colleagues, in person and those working remotely. You may also be required to provide 2nd and 3rd line support, dependent on the system and/or infrastructure for which a support request ticket has been initiated.

This role also requires you to maintain effective inventory controls on the IT equipment and hardware, and assist in the day-to-day procurement of IT equipment.

Experience/skills required:

•Experience of working on IT projects/programmes and understanding of IT infrastructure and systems architecture.

•Customer Service experience.

•Experience of using IT Helpdesk Software.

•Understanding of network account management, authentication and security technologies (i.e. firewalls, active directory)

•Highly computer literate including advanced knowledge of MS Office.

•A logical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.

•Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload.


•Exceptional communication and inter-personal skills, including ability to relate with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds, and ensure end users are fully appraised of problem resolution/new services.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, the annual salary is £26,500 which will work out at a pay rate of £13.58 per hour.
