This role is an exciting position located within the head office of a reputable Tour Operator. This is an administrative role that provides customer support to travelers once their worldwide holiday has been booked. A post sales role that is varied and see you dealing with suppliers and clients over email and phone providing the ultimate customer service once prior to, during and after travel. We would love you to have experience within travel for this role but if not a good background in either a call centre or contact centre would be considered.

Start: ASAP
Location: Cambridge (Outskirts)
Salary: £Negotiable!
Hours: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm – You will also work Saturday’s 9am – 5pm with one Saturday off in 4. When working a Saturday you will be given a week day off in Leui.

The purpose of this role is to support all travelers once their holiday has been booked. This could be prior to their travels with the quality control checking of documentation, you may schedule changes, provide building work updates, make arrangements for bookings with special needs and assist with any problems in resort.


• Dealing with customer enquiries relating to their travel and holidays
• Drafting letters and emails
• Answering a busy telephone and dealing with inbound calls
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Handle customer complaints
• Provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits
• Follow up to ensure resolution is satisfactory
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
• Take the extra mile to engage customers

Skills and Experience:

• Previous customer service based role
• Professional and calm telephone manner
• Excellent letter writing and grammatical skills
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Being able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team
• Proactive nature
• Must be competent in using MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• Preferably have a knowledge of the travel industry (not essential)
