The school are looking to welcome a dedicated and energetic KS2 Teacher who has a track record of delivering high-quality lessons and has the ability to adjust to the school's ethos.

The KS2 English Teacher will take a class in Year 3 to Year 6 and will need both a caring and professional manner. The KS2 Teacher will implement and deliver a balanced and relevant curriculum to their class and will monitor the overall progress of their pupils. The chosen KS2 Teacher must be able to foster a positive learning environment and uphold productive educational experiences.

The main responsibilities of the KS2 Teacher will be to develop a classroom environment and teaching practice which secures effective learning across the National Curriculum. They will tailor lesson plans to the educational needs of the group, and will efficiently manage their work load by marking and assigning feedback in a timely manner. The KS2 Teacher must allocate targets to all students and work towards reaching those with each individual. The KS2 Teacher must be confident in liaising with professionals, staff and parents. Outside of the classroom, you will be a significant part of the KS2 department and will be actively involved in raising the profile of the school and organising extracurricular activities and clubs.

The school are a 2-form entry in Bexley, South East London. The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and their tailored curriculum strives to provide academic excellence and a safe learning environment for children to thrive in. The school offer in-house support and coaching for all their staff.
