Your World Education are delighted to be supporting a "Good" SEMH centre in the heart of Harrow, in their search for an experienced Science Teacher for Feb 2018.

This SEMH Centre is the Harrow local authority's education other than school (EOTAS) service. They are a Service consisting of a Pupil Referral Unit, Hospital Education, Home Tuition and an outreach Inclusion Support Team, providing education for pupils from 5-16 covering the four Key Stages. The Education Centre takes in pupils from all Harrow Schools and the neighbouring boroughs.

The service provides a transitional education and support for up to 160 learners per year when they are unable to attend mainstream school. Pupils enter the service when they have been permanently excluded; as a respite placement; ill health (mental or physical) or occasionally by other circumstances.

This is s full time Teaching Role from February 2018, initially offered on a Long-Term contract until July 2018, with a potential permanent offering for the right candidate. You will be responsible for the planning and delivering of creative & engaging lessons across key subjects Science & the monitoring of pupil progress.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you will need:

* Bachelor of Education degree/PGCE/equivalent teaching degree
* UK teaching experience, within a SEN Environment (SEMH is desirable experience is essential)
* Ability to plan and deliver creative & engaging lessons
* A passion for education and the ability to deal with potentially challenging situations
* Eligibility to work in the UK (valid UK Passport or visa)
* Recent classroom-based references
* Valid DBS on the DBS Online System and/or relevant police checks
