Monday to Thursday 8am to 5.15pm, Friday 8am to 12pm

This is a great opportunity to join an international, world-class supplier of products to the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. The company are well-established and have experienced year on year growth, they offer long-term stability as well as a competitive remuneration package.

The successful candidate will be a mechanical biased engineer from ANY manufacturing or ex-forces background, provided they have a good working knowledge of pneumatics. Electrically you will be working on sensors, and low voltage electrics. Candidates must be qualified mechanically, to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, purely mechanical candidates are invited to apply as electrical training can be provided.

The role itself is split roughly 60% mechanical 40% electrical, you will be working to planned maintenance schedules as well as undertaking reactive maintenance. Mechanically, you will be working predominantly on pneumatics. The electrical work consists of primarily low voltage work on sensors and invertors; there is a small degree of 3 phase work required. You will be working alongside 1 other maintenance engineer within an inclusive team of 9 engineers in total.

The Role:

* 60% Mechanical 40% Electrical
* PPMs and reactive maintenance
* Heavy focus on pneumatic equipment
* Working on low voltage sensors and invertors
* PLC fault finding – training can be provided if needed

The Candidate:

* Good working knowledge of pneumatics
* From ANY manufacturing or ex-forces background
* Mechanical bias with basic electrical skills – purely mechanical candidates are invited to apply
* Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical discipline
