About the Role
An outstanding school in The London Borough of Wandsworth are currently looking for a resilient and determined SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 5 class supporting a child with severe Behavioural difficulties (SEBD). The child, in particular, is challenging and can quite often cause whole class disruption. The school ideally would prefer someone that has at least two years' experience in a similar role with strong behavioural management skills. This position is potentially until the end of the academic year July 2018 with the prospect of going permanent.

You will be working in a large school in the London borough of Wandsworth which has recently received a 'Good' rating from Ofsted. This school is very diverse and is home to children from various backgrounds with various needs. Therefore, in this school, the ethos is very much that every child should be treated equally and children of all backgrounds and abilities deserve the same level of education. You will have access to in-house training and the possibility of a permanent contract. This school is accessible by the Northern line and good bus service. The school is a 12-minute walk from the station

Requirements for the Role:
Relevant and recent Special Needs experience.
Graduate level education or a minimum of a level 3 teaching assistant qualification.
Availability to start immediately.

Rate of Pay and Working hours £75 - £80 per day depending on experience, working hours of 08.30am - 16:00 pm. Lunch 45 minutes

You must have recent and a minimum of one years' experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application
