If you are experienced and have a good knowledge of the year six curriculum, with a wealth of experience behind you, Step Teachers wants you!

As this is a long term, full time interventions role. You will be accountable for small groups in the class in year 6 - afternoons planned for by the teacher - Wednesday afternoon PPA used for the planning for the 4 afternoons as an extra added bonus you don’t need to do the maths or English planning! This role is available after the Easter Half term. The interventions teacher will be responsible for coordinating educational activities that will contribute to their language, social and personal skills. The school is looking for this outstanding Interventions teacher to start as soon as possible. This a great opportunity to work in a school that continues to receive a ‘Good’ rating by Ofsted.

To be considered for this amazing opportunity, you must be:

* Must be a qualified primary teacher.
* An excellent practitioner who is experienced with the year six and year four curriculum.
* Able to promote equal opportunities in the classroom.
* Equipped with excellent behaviour and classroom management.
* Able to think and plan strategically.
* Able to support pupils at a consistently good and outstanding level.
* Equipped with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and pupils.

Successful applicants must have:
- A UK DBS or willing to undertake one.
- Excellent references.
