The school are searching for an RE Teacher who can represent the school’s values and beliefs. The RE Teacher must set the highest expectations for all pupils and will be forward-thinking in their teaching. They must demonstrate a willingness to listen and put forward ideas to better the Humanities department and must strive for justice and fairness.

The RE Teacher will teach across the age and ability of Key Stage 2 and 3 under the direction of the Head of Humanities. You will plan and deliver lessons in accordance to the National Curriculum and will ensure that assessment records are registered and up-to-date at all times. The RE Teacher must monitor student progress and set targets for each individual whilst ensuring that these are liaised professionally with parents and staff. The school are particularly interested in someone who can make complex content fun and engaging for all pupils.

The school is based in Kensington and Chelsea and is a growing 11-18 academy. They have been graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas and were identified as one of the best rising academies. They recently opened a brand new Science building with exceptional facilities and technology for all pupils. They are in the top 10% of schools for progress in both GCSE and A-level and are continuing to provide academic excellence. They are extremely invested in all staff and if successful, the RE Teacher can expect to see themselves in Senior Leadership roles.
