Front-end Web Developer (CSS/HTML, JS, UX, UI)

£30,000 - £45,000 a year

We are one of the best digital agencies in Manchester and we're looking to expand our in-house talent to match client demand. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mid-Weight - Senior Front-End Developer responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact within a web application.Working with Designers and Back-end developers to produce high-quality user-facing functionality using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

We are looking for a talented and dynamic front-end developer to help us build optimised websites and for forward-thinking global clients. Someone who really cares about the client journey and final result, not just getting the job finished on time.

What we're looking for is a creative person with a great eye for design and a can-do attitude.

What are we looking for?

* 3 + years experience within a digital agency

* 3 + years experience working within the eCommerce sector

* Able to make sound decisions based on good UX and be able to communicate your reasoning effectively

* Good knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe XD

* Understanding of good UI / UX techniques

* Examples of ecommerce sites which illustrate design flair and UX considerations

* Knowledge and experience working with the responsive front end framework Bootstrap

* Clearly demonstrate strong capability in all aspects of front end development; HTML(5), CSS, jQuery, AngularJS and Javascript

* Strong knowledge of build stacks, including NPM, Grunt, LESS/SASS

* Experience working with CMS packages

* Understanding of component based development to ensure reusability and extendability

* Build with the requirements for accessibility and SEO in mind

What you'll be doing

* Prototyping: wireframes, mock-ups

* Efficiency: Working to client deadlines and product

* Engineering Principles: able to design solutions using sound engineering principles

* Problem Solving: rational, logical thinker

* Tools and Languages: HTML, CSS and JavaScript technologies etc.

* Human Computer Interaction and User Experience: User Experience, Responsive design

* Verbal and non-Verbal Communication Skills: able to communicate with customers and colleagues in a variety of forms

* Issue Resolution: able to methodically investigate and resolve issues
