Your new company
This technology driven business are leaders in their field with an international footprint. They are now looking to add a specialist back end developer to their team to focus on C# .Net and SQL Server database project work to support the company's main reporting and analytics tool.
We need someone with an interest in dual work between complex SQL work and C# (following design patterns and modern coding standards).
Your new role
This is predominantly a hands-on position working to support the development of a scalable, flexible data product. As the company grows a leadership position is realistic but your passion now should remain with core development work and contributing to the code.
You will be part of a well-established team for a business pushing 50 years in industry. The role will involve maintenance work but as they dip into new markets new development projects will become the focus for the team. You will be working on a quality product and looking to cement the company's position as market leaders.
The company operate a flat structure and select elements of Agile that work for them. It's a mid-sized team with good tenure and retention. The company invests in new tools and technology where necessary and encourage developers to bring new ideas to the table.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a hybrid position requiring SQL Skills (T-SQL, SQL Server up to 2016, database schema design, DML/DDL) and OO C# skills (SOLID design principles. .Net 4.5).
If you have experience working with secure data, authoring SQL reports and working to compliance standards such as ISO this will advantageous.
Additional knowledge of Asp.Net MVC / TDD/DDD or Telerik controls will serve you well.
