The Role

I am seeking a registered healthcare professional to become a Clinical Disability Assessor in the Walsall area. The role is full-time, based either in a clinic or within a radius of your address.

You will meet claimants to complete a full functional assessment on behalf of PIP and the Department of Workplace and Pensions. They are offering up to £34,000 p/a for successful applicants.

You will dissect and analyse important information such as claimant questionnaires, GP documentation and multidisciplinary data, this includes evaluating Activities of Daily Living. This information will then be elaborated upon in a comprehensive and structured report including recommendations as to when the customer's circumstances should be reviewed. This information will then be sent to the DWP for a final decision on the claimant's benefit status.

The Person

To apply you will need at least 2 years post registration experience and be NMC or HCPC registered with a valid PIN. Currently, we can only accept applications from Nurses, Paramedics, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

You must be resident within the WS postcode area and have proven experience of assessing and report writing. You must also hold a valid UK driving license and be happy to drive around the local area to attend home and clinic based assessments.

You will embark on a 6-week intensive training course (fully paid) which will include classroom based and
activity based learning. Following training, you will be supported to reach your full potential with close
mentorship and professional development, including ongoing CPD that keeps you up to date and eligible for revalidation.
