BACKGROUND

Our client is a highly dynamic, exciting and rapidly growing FTSE 250plc. They have invested in an NGA HR Information system which has been integrated well in terms of payroll functionality the system is now ready to have best use made of it’s other aspects of functionality and capability. The person we are looking for will take a lead role in driving forward the implementation of further functionality.

JOB PURPOSE

To provide an effective and efficient service to HR colleagues and the business in HR systems and production of management information to support NGA HR information provision and HR service delivery. Primary contact will be HR colleagues and also with operational divisions.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

· Maintain and develop the core HR IT systems (NGA)

· Manage HR Management System projects

· Progress systems activity recommending changes where appropriate.

· Develop and maintain Document Management and Workflow solutions

· Contribute to, develop and maintain systems and permissions

· Carry out system administration activities – e.g. system maintenance, system testing, system/data checks fault-finding and resolution, managing user access.

· Support others using systems – e.g. designing and delivering training, and producing user guides.

· Work with intranet/internet technology as required.

· Contribute to discussions on future systems, evaluate existing systems/other products as necessary and make recommendations.

· Support reporting and measurement activity across the whole range of HR activity.

· Advise HR colleagues and progress with them reporting and measurements e.g. Dashboard Reporting.

· Respond to ad hoc reporting requirements positively.

· Action defined reporting at set times throughout the year ensuring deadlines are met wherever possible.

THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE ROLE

· Strong HR/IT project management experience.

· Experience of new system implementations, managing system providers, HR and payroll processes and delivering process improvement.

· Demonstrated experience of successfully managing key relationships and communicating with stakeholders.

· HR background or understanding of key HR processes and challenges and the various centres of excellence across the HR function.

· IT background or experience of working with and across IT functions whilst delivering successful projects.

· Experience working with HR information systems and utilising them to meet business needs.

· HRIS and particularly NGA experience is desirable.
