Lecturer in French Studies (Teaching Focused)
Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in French Studies, which is tenable from 1 September 2018 for a period of 10 months.
You must have a PhD in a relevant field, submitted or very near completion, and demonstrable teaching experience in French Studies at university level. We are particularly interested in candidates who also have experience teaching gender studies, popular culture and/or twentieth-century literature and thought. You must be fluent in English and French as you will be required to teach French/English translation. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to empathise with students. Experience working with virtual learning environments is highly desirable.
