My client are a small up and coming systems maintenance organisation. They aim to provide top quality customer service whilst providing top of the range support and knowledge. With big aims for the future the organisation is growing fast. Accompanied with brand new state of the art offices and a newly formed business relationship with a digital marketing expert this is the place to be.

Main Duties:

  • The successful candidate will join a well-established Operations Team in a friendly, relaxed yet hard working environment; ability to work under pressure is a must.
  • The new apprentice will be responsible for delivering excellent service and value to the business.
  • You will be responsible to provide first line support.
  • Troubleshooting of computer, IP Phones and bespoke software.
  • Working with spreadsheets and data formatting.
  • Dealing with issues presented on a day to day basis via phone with agents working out in the field.
  • Dealing with hardware problems.
Desired skills

Essential:

  • Priority based helpdesk system experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • A degree of Active Directory knowledge.
  • Microsoft Exchange knowledge.
  • Demonstrate customer service and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Disciplined, self-organised and motivated to learn and improve.
  • Methodical approach to work, ensuring all tasks are completed thoroughly and efficiently.

Preferred:

  • Experience adhering to SLA’s.
  • Basic Windows server knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of networking.
Personal qualities
  • Can do attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good level of communication.
  • Someone who is looking to take an opportunity and really make it their own.
Desired qualifications
  • Level 2 Maths and English or the equivalent.
Future prospects
  • It has been expressed by the employer that there are growth avenues within the organisation after the apprenticeship. This organisation has had apprentices before and feels that they can add great value to the organisation.

  • Level 3 Infrastructure Technician

Working week

  • 9am-4pm – Monday to Friday
  • Total hours per week: 35.00

Weekly wage

  • £175.00
