Job DescriptionClaims Handler £19,500 to £21,000 per annum - (Abingdon)

Claims Handler required to join busy, friendly team on Milton Park, Abingdon on a Temporary basis.

As a Claims Handler you will be required to:

  • Maintain claims allocated to you within the set SLA's
  • Make formal assessments on claims to decide if they are covered under the policy terms and conditions
  • Make cost effective decisions on all claims handled
  • Raise Purchase Orders
  • Update consumers on all actions taking
  • Liaise with manufacturers and retailers
  • Update weekly reports to track where you are against SLA
  • Answer Telephones within set SLA
  • Responded to emails within set SLA
  • Handle complaints in the correct manner as set by the underwriters
  • Adhere to the business Service Level Agreement targets
  • Perform other duties as assigned

To be considered for the Claims Handler role you will need to:

  • Possess good office organisational and administrative skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Be able to work on own initiative and ability to prioritise
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
