Application Support | JIRA | 1st & 2nd Line Support | eCommerce Platform

A successful comparison company in the heart of South West London are seeking a Junior Application Support Specialist/Developer. You will be taking on "business as usual" tasks that' keep 10+ websites and back office system in order, while working with the IT Support Helpdesk team.

You will use JIRA and follow up on requests from the business, manage tickets on the system and communicate issues.

This is a very hand on role, so you will need to troubleshoot and make fixes yourself. You will work closely with the Data team, using databases, gaining experience of a high volume, e-commerce platform.

Requirements:

  • 1st & 2nd line support
  • Managing tasks, fixing issues, and escalating things to the required team members
  • Communicating task progress to the business
  • Using a test environment to replicate issues
  • Able to remain goal-focused under pressure
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar support role
  • JIRA, or another helpdesk system
  • Able to support web based systems
