Reporting to the Mobile Product Manager, leading and working within virtual teams, you will be responsible for the product management of a set of mobile VAS services, helping implement and drive the product strategy, delivery and revenues for each. Some of the products to be developed include voicemail services, contract finance products for minutes/handsets, data usage throttling/capping, mobile data services etc all focussed on enterprise mobile based services. Key Responsibilities: - Assisting in the development the product plan and strategy - Delivering the agreed plan on their product lines - Understanding market requirements for both channel partners and end-users - Assist in delivering a clear market positioning and differentiation - Working with marketing in defining and delivering the product marketing plan - Creating and maintaining product documentation - Working with and supporting the sales teams to deliver services - Keeping abreast of new and emerging 'technologies' and market developments - Monitoring competitors, develop and maintain competitive analysis and information - Assist in defining and developing the product roadmap for new features and enhancements - Working closely with the development teams to deliver the roadmap on time and within budget - Help building business cases for new services, applications or features - Contributing to the specification work for support systems and customer tools - Monthly monitoring and reporting on the key product performance indicators - Assisting in the development a robust forecasting to support Gamma's planning processes Performance Metrics: - Revenue and margin per service against plan - Quality of services - as defined by faults, issues, logistics, and ease of provisioning - Product Enhancements to defined timescales and quality The right candidate should have: - Experience of managing communications services - A good understanding of the mobile ecosystem - Product management skills - Ability to work within, influence or lead cross-departmental teams - Good commercial awareness - Good presentational skills - Ability to work in a flexible and innovative environment - Good ability using Excel A highly desirable the candidate will have: - A good understanding of selling business-focused communication services - A good understanding of selling services through the channel - A basic understanding of a mobile network core
