Business Development Manager
A role, based out of Birmingham, with a national professional services firm with a great reputation, this Business Development Manager position is crucial part of the practice group it will support.
The role itself will be to work closely with the individual partners within the practice group to assist them with achieving their business plans whilst steering the group towards a firm wide ambition. The role will involve analysing and understanding the market, identifying the opportunity and helping to create a thought leader reputation for the team so as to help with the creation and development of new business. You will also take a key role in understanding your existing client base to ensure that the relationships are firm and deep and that the revenue streams are maximised.
In order to be successful at application for this position you will need to have worked within a professional services firm, in a BD role, previously and have a proven track record of successfully influencing and guiding partners to the achievement of their business plans. Key to the position in stakeholder engagement, internal stakeholders as well as external. This role will require an individual with experience in the professional services sector but it could be a great fit for a Senior Executive looking to make their first move into a Manager position or an established Manager, they will also consider individuals who want part time hours. The role will also require you to work closely with the other teams within the broader marketing and BD function so experience across bid management, events and communications would all be useful.
