Our client's range of branded products are amongst the market leaders within this category of consumer goods.

This is a key role within the commercial team and reports to the Managing Director.

The Role:

  • Implement sales strategies that secure the achievement of revenue and profit objectives.
  • Take specific responsibility for managing relationships with major accounts and lead a small team servicing the needs of other customers.
  • Provide input to product design.
  • Work closely with the Planning team in in developing timely stock ordering systems and processes.
  • Liaise with the marketing team in successfully executing promotional activity and delivering product innovation to market.
  • Provide leadership to the sales team through organising, motivating, developing and mentoring them.

The Candidate:

  • Graduate calibre with a clear record of sales success and effective team leadership within the branded consumer products sector.
  • Ideal background more specifically would be through experience gained within active leisure products with this including apparel, hi-tech or jewellery.
  • Understanding of major account internal business processes based upon existing relationships.
  • Team leader with first class organisational and communication skills.
