Our client is a leading retail specialist with an enviable reputation for choice, quality, value and customer service.

They are looking for a Marketing Campaign Manager to devise, develop and manage a range of cross-channel customer communications which are on-brand, delivered on-time and within budget.

The successful candidate will be passionate, creative and commercially-aware and be instrumental in bringing the brand to life across a range of campaigns. A clear and confident communicator who is highly organised, flexible and adaptable.

Key Responsibilities:

Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, to generate the promotional brief and work with a team of copywriters and designers to develop customer facing collateral to include direct response TV adverts, leaflet campaigns, inserts, mail order adverts, promotional emails and website banner copy for each campaign. You will need to be confident in establishing critical path to manage timings and delivery. Output should be aligned cross-channel, tailored to the audience, on brand, come within budget and delivered on time. As all lead generation activity is meticulously measured, you should be comfortable working with analysis, data and numbers too. Providing updates to the wider Marketing team on how campaigns are performing is also required.

The company also run non-promotional campaigns, collaborations and influencer projects throughout the year, which you will be required to contribute to, steer or manage as required by the business.

You will be responsible for creating and managing the marketing plan and for the development and delivery of the full range of customer-facing brochures. You will need to develop the brief and manage the creative process, share and obtain sign-off from key stakeholders, forecast print volumes and oversee the print process. You will also be required to manage the stock-levels kept at various locations, forecast performance and manage the budget. Ensuring figures, costs and response rates are kept up-to-date and accurate throughout the year is essential.

Working closely with the Product and marketing teams, you will be required to plan and deliver all product launch campaigns. You will meticulously plan and coordinate all marketing launch activity from up to 18 months and support the Product team with all launch materials to include pattern books, technical brochures and ad hoc collateral.

Key Skills:

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, ideally within a marketing-related discipline or English. A CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing is desirable. Proven experience within a similar role with an ability to manage and deliver marketing communications. Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining excellent standards. Excellent copywriting skills, numerate and comfortable with campaign analysis. Effective management of external agencies to deliver high quality results. Relate well to people at all levels with an ability to influence and build a network of internal and external contacts. Gain clear agreement and commitment from others. Deliver presentations and undertake public speaking with skill and confidence. An ability to translate vision and brand ambitions into tactical output and campaigns with new ideas, new approaches and insights. Identifies and finds solutions to problems and gathers comprehensive information to support decision making.
