Your new company
This leading life and pensions company are currently expanding their team. As a result of this, they require a manager to head up their solutions centre of excellence in Edinburgh.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the overall strategy, budgeting and control of the companies IT assets within their build support service. You will liaise with 3rd parties and suppliers, as well as internal teams to ensure development standards and governance are being met. You will set up development projects to support the companies strategic plans and work across multiple platforms to deliver major IT projects/programmes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven portfolio and people management skills, ideally having implemented various frameworks and design systems previously. You will have a sound understanding of a variety of application development tools and the full development life cycle, as well as prior IT infrastructure knowledge.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a basic salary of £55K-65K, plus a benefits package including pension and bonus contribution. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in the companies solution build/design and have the support of your team to be successful in this position.
