We are currently looking for a talented Claims Handler to join us in our Sheffield office to run a caseload of personal injury cases. You will be a team player with the ability develop and maintain excellent client relationships and will be keen to engage in marketing and business development opportunities.
Working as part of our successful National Fast Track Centre based in Sheffield, the role of a Stage 2 Executive involves progressing PI cases. This includes evaluating and making informed decisions on all aspects of the case such as negotiating settlements, considering medical evidence, assessing quantum and advising the client, submitting final settlement packs, ensuring as many cases as possible exit the MoJ Portal whilst adhering to the firms procedures and passing cases to the Stage 3 process swiftly and promptly. The option of part-time working is also available for this role.

You will have previous experience of assessing quantum on cases
You will have claims handling experience
Someone who is self-sufficient and thrives in a busy working environment
Excellent communication and client care skills, demonstrating an ability to empathise with vulnerable clients is essential
Empathy with the Labour Trade movement is desirable
