Our client is a leading international healthcare, medical assistance, and security services company providing a world-wide medical & travel security service dealing with around 350-500 cases per day
As a Nurse Advisor, you will be responsible for the remote delivery of medical assistance at an international level.
Key duties include: -
- Providing medical advice and making referrals
- Monitoring patient care
- Liaising with medical professionals
This is an excellent opportunity to move out of a hands-on clinical role whilst utilising your medical knowledge, experience and skills by offering medical assistance by telephone to client and members who could be anywhere in the world.
You also have the option to work on repatriation cases.
We are seeking FULL TIME Nurses required to work 7.5 hours per day. The shifts are set between the hours of 7am and 10:30pm but are mostly 8am to 4.30pm. You will be required to work 1 full weekend in 4 to 6 weeks (hours back in lieu).
This role would be ideal for candidates whom have experience within the military, cruise, flight or even nursing abroad but this is not essential.
The successful candidate will have: -
- NMC registration
- 2 years' experience in acute care (e.g. A&E, ITU, etc)
- Adult nursing experience
- Broad medical knowledge
- Experience of dealing with emergencies
- Excellent command of the English language (written and oral)
- Strong customer service skills
- Good computer skills
Our client is offering a generous package including a salary starting at £37,000, health care, dental care, life insurance, child care vouchers, pension, Employee Assistance Programme and 22 days annual leave (including your birthday) plus bank holidays.
Parking is not available so travel by public transport is preferred for this location.
