Duties:

  • Training the team
  • Managing 2 AP clerks
  • Managing the general ledger, ensuring cashbook is posted weekly
  • Implementing new purchase ledger processes
  • Dealing with all queries
  • Ensuring invoices are paid on time and accurate
  • Ad-hoc support to the rest of the finance team
  • Liaising with other departments in the business
  • Managing activities within the AR function

Necessary background:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience within an AP function
  • Education to A Level, degree level preferable
  • A minimum of 1 years experience in a leadership position (e.g. supervisor/manager)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft excel skills
  • Pro-active will-do attitude
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferable
