  • Overseeing all engineering and technical matters relating to the Company activities providing technical inputs in the preparation of commercial Tenders/Quotations.
  • Overseeing the preparation of technical specification for the acquisition of new equipment, modification of existing assets and project technical documentation based on agreed programme and timescale.
  • Defining and identifies project goals & procedures and impact on the overall project timeline.
  • Operating accordingly to the Corporate Quality Manual and enforce HSE policies throughout the organisation and emphasises the importance of safety.
  • Reporting to the General Manager about the vital information on the overall technical performance, suggesting new strategies and policies of the company.
  • Submitting to the General Manager plans and proposals for technical and operational investments for business development, infrastructures, research and development.
  • Preparation of technical specification for the acquisition of new equipment and for the modification of existing assets.
  • Participation to technical meetings with Clients, relevant follow ups, reporting and actions
  • Preparation of Project Specific technical documentation based on agreed programme and timescale. This may include design works, outline and construction drawings, materials take off procedures, method statements and any other related documentation.
  • Planning, organization and documentation for onshore cutting trials and for any other testing activities that may be required by Clients.
  • Conducting regular interviews, at least every six months, of the personnel working within the Engineering Department to assess achievements, additional training requirements, level of personal professional satisfaction reached and/or any cause of individual concern or unhappiness that may need to be addressed.
  • Defining pre-production technical documentation process for correctness and timeliness, controls all stages of operation & post-production.
  • Developing and implement equipment design, using research, analytical, conceptual and particularly mathematical simulation and computer-aided design.
  • Planning, defines and identifies production processes, detail specifications and outline designs.
  • Identifying cost - effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput.
  • Recommending modifications based on prototype test results.
  • Oversees the production process in a production schedule, ensuring that the production results are on time, cost-effective and of good quality

Education:

  • degrees in Mechanical Engineering
  • knowledge of Hydraulic
  • design experience
  • drawing in 3D (preferable)
  • experience in Subsea.
