The sales people we meet speak about wanting to work in new growth areas in Tech -"the exciting areas" - Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Cryptos et al…. but I think they're missing the point. For any sales and marketing led organisation the most important question must be "What are the fastest growing customer markets?" Worldwide online gambling is forecasted to reach $51.96 billion U.S. dollars in 2018… and has more than doubled since 2009. Online gambling activities related to betting, gaming, and lottery through smartphones, tablets, PCs is due to completely outstrip all other areas of betting. Our client is one of the new wave of BET-TECH businesses… and they've doubled in size every year since they've been founded.

JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager
PACKAGE: £30k base, £50k OTE, 25 days holiday, healthcare, pension.


Founded in 2006, our client is the leading provider of compliance and regulatory business intelligence and research to the gambling sector.
Global offices including Washington, Malta, and their London HQ.
Huge success in the space so far with a first class list of clients including; Bet365, Ladbrokes, and William Hill.


Experience in a closing role previously.
You will ideally have experience selling a subscription based product would be an advantage.
Desire to work in an up and coming, dynamic, fast growth team.
Happy with a work-hard, play-hard culture.
New business.


New business role selling 4 product lines; business intelligence subscription platform, reports and trackers, e-learning, and research.

Targeting heads of legal and compliance at large firms and C-level within smaller companies.

Leads generated through conferences, marketing, and an hour of lead-gen each day.

Average deal values around £7k ARR.

Average sales cycles - 1 month.

Good routes for progression.
