You'll work as part of a busy and proactive IT support team to deliver outstanding customer service and support by responding to and resolving incidents and requests raised by their staff. The team work to tight timescales within a demanding environment and it is essential that all customers are treated in a professional and friendly manner and with the utmost consideration given to their business needs.

The following is required:

  • Professional services background - ideally law firm or equivalent where their primary business involves the production of documents.
  • Very strong knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience of providing tuition and guidance in the use of these applications.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years' helpdesk experience at first line would be fine.

Rate: £150 - £200/day
Duration: 12 months +
Location: London

The IT Support Team provide both first and second line telephone and desk-side IT support for all staff. This includes the provision of application support for software (predominantly MS Office 2010), desktop and RDS operating systems, printers, hardware, and software installations. This team aim to resolve 80% of all incidents and requests at first line.

A significant part of this role will be to bring to the existing team advanced knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications and to support staff in the use of these applications. As such, this role will involve the production and publication of associated support and training material together with some individual tuition.
