A leading business experiencing growth, even in the current economic climate, are currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to manage their complex payroll and benefits team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll manager.

Responsibilities will include managing a team of 7; work with the Deputy Payroll Manager and will have the ability to demonstrate a high level of commitment towards deadlines, ownership of reporting and other responsibilities; to deliver a timely and accurate payroll both weekly and monthly; to ensure compliance and provide guidance and support in the implementation of statutory requirements and company procedures; manage Year End processes; be involved and proactive in the continuous development and implementation of improvements to the operating systems and procedures; implementation and management of Benefits, Share Incentive Plans and Pension Schemes; support the reconcile of all payroll control accounts; timely and accurate payments to pension schemes.

In order to succeed in this role, you will be an experienced man-manager with extensive Payroll experience, in a commercial environment. An ability to organise your time and work unsupervised is key.
