Online Marketing Manager
We are looking for a multi-skilled, self-starting, online marketing professional to join our company as Digital Marketing Manager for our established e-commerce retail brand.
This may suit someone coming from a digital agency background, having built a strong range of skills, now looking to commit to a single brand to fully explore both yours and its potential. You will experience a diversity of role that comes from being involved with the entire operation. In turn, quickly building relevant domain knowledge and identifying opportunities from working 'in-house’ that is hard to realise as an external partner.
We are looking for someone with the ability to see potential, generate ideas and have a practical, multi-disciplined skill-set to bring them to life.
Essential skills and experience:
A strong focus and understanding of retail and B2C sales and marketing.
A proven record and experience of running successful, well optimised Google adwords campaigns, with a strong emphasis on both search and shopping/product ads. Hands-on experience is essential as you will be personally managing and developing existing campaigns, with the expectation of maintaining and improving performance.
Experience with Google Analytics and the generation of actionable reports and KPIs.
The understanding of and ability to devise and manage a social strategy that delivers both results and cost efficiency.
Knowledge of SEO techniques and best practice, both technically and practically.
A practical understanding of content marketing, its benefits, opportunities and how it can be used within a customer journey and as a promotional tool.
The ability to research and understand new and complementary topics sufficient to produce quality, engaging articles designed to promote our products and raise awareness.
An understanding of web technologies and the process around website development and management.
A basic, practical understanding of HTML and CSS.
Experience of Affiliate marketing and management of affiliates would be beneficial.
Any design or creative content skills would be a bonus and may open up new opportunities within the role.
Overall, an excitement and interest in digital and online retail that gives you the motivation to be constantly learning and educating yourself to be at the forefront of current thinking and leading practice.
Practical aspects of the role will involve:
Maintaining our Adwords and paid search across multiple platforms.
Writing copy and content for our blog and content opportunities.
Taking responsibility for product content, descriptions, specifications and rich copy.
Social media campaign management.
Affiliate campaign management.
Working closely at director level to devise and execute ideas and strategy.
Working with external design and development agencies.
Our company is located in Nottingham, NG14.
The position is full-time, Mon-Fri, 40 hours a week.
