For our Client we are currently looking for a Clinical Support Specialist operating within Foot & Ankle division. This role offers a wide range of possibilities working with the highly experienced and supportive Foot & Ankle specialist sales team to coordinate training and support for physicians, surgical theatre staff, hospital administration and sterilisation departments.

Location: Ideally, this candidate will live in the Greater London area with easy access to the M25, M11. The primary area of working focus will be Essex ,Herts, Surrey and Central London. In exceptional occasions travel to other parts of the UK may be required, with reasonable notice.

You will actively:

  • Help implement training, provision of instruments and provide assistance in case coverage of Trauma surgery in collaboration with the Trauma team

  • Organise and conduct training workshops for surgical & theatre staff

  • Work with other Trauma South East England Sales team members and members of the Foot & Ankle Sales team

  • Report to the National Business Manager Foot & Ankle, to ensure customer service levels are best in class

  • Communicate essential features and benefits of products and their clinical application

  • Audit theatre and hospital stock (implants, disposables and instruments)

  • Conduct trials and evaluations of product in theatre and clinical environment as required

  • Make observations of customer needs and liaise with sales colleagues to follow up on and introduce new or additional products and/or support

Our requirements:

  • Certified scrub nurse or ODA, professional training in a medical environment preferred

  • Theatre experience in Trauma/ Orthopedics division essential

  • Computer skills, MS Office

  • Presentation skills with modern presentation media

  • Workshop/demonstration skills/training skills

  • Good working knowledge of anatomy and physiology
