Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Advisor to work for a well known Company in the Southampton area. This is a very busy role where you will be working within a well established payroll team. You will be responsible for accurate salary processing, resolving queries and general payroll related tasks. This is a very busy role that requires pace and good attention to detail. This role is working for a fantastic Company with a great working environment.

The role

This is a busy payroll position where you will be required to process a monthly and weekly payroll, including manual calculations, production of payroll reports and management information, reporting overpayments and irregularities, processing new starter and leaver information and other associated administrative tasks. You will seek to maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers and will be working within a team so need to be comfortable in this environment.

The ideal candidate

To be considered for this role you need to have previous experience in computerised payroll activities, with a good understanding of payroll processes, including Tax/NI/Statutory Payments and regulations. You will need to understand the importance of confidentiality and be able to respond effectively to payroll queries. Good problem solving skills, high attention to detail and a flexible approach are vital for this role.
