You will primarily provide business intelligence solutions and data analytics to inform operational and strategic decision making, as well as contribute to the development of the business intelligence strategy.

The role is based within the Planning & Intelligence team focusing on the provision of BI reports, management information and student number forecasts; you will support the processes that ensure student and planning data is robust, accessible and more widely understood across the university, with an increasing focus on the visualisation of information.

You will support the delivery of a new BI strategy, working with a range of stakeholders, and will help to enhance the approach to student number forecasting. This will involve working with teams across the University to identify, understand and scope requirements, as determined by business need.

We are seeking a proactive individual, ideally with relevant Higher Education experience. You will possess excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills, as well as an ability to prioritise your own workload and be effective in changing situations.

Extensive experience of data presentation and interpretation is required, ideally with proficiency in data visualisation and modelling techniques. A demonstrable working knowledge of BI reporting tools and MS Office is expected.
