We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our Books marketing team to support with a wide range of marketing activities including marketing campaigns, materials, research and customer management. You’ll be an organised and proactive individual, with an awareness of the role that marketing teams play to support wider business success.
This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to start a career in marketing in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

What you’ll be doing:
• Coordinating, implementing, and delivering marketing campaigns under direction of line manager
• Analysing and reporting on campaign results
• Creating and updating marketing materials and website content as required, under direction of line managers
• Dealing effectively with internal and external queries and other customer communication
• Supporting the team in research activities, projects, or campaigns as directed by line manager
• Accurate and timely delivery of information for reporting and tracking team activities
• Occasional travel to support at conferences and exhibitions and/or carrying out other customer-facing activities, reporting back as required
• Contributing to discussions with new ideas and actively looking for ways to improve existing processes

What we’re looking for:
• Strong time management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Excellent written English, including grammar and spelling
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain timely and accurate records
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Excellent team player and relationship building abilities
• Results driven, with commercial and customer focus (knowledge of current market trends would be beneficial)
• Knowledge and ability with IT systems including core MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point). Experience using web/cloud based databases, CMS, email creation platforms and/or other bespoke IT systems would also be advantageous but full training will be provided.
