A position has arisen within a large and expanding business for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on an initial temporary contract. This role has the potential to become permanent for someone with the right skills and experience. This role will be to work in the Blackpool area.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be required to:

Matching purchase invoices and credit notices to purchase orders and returns

Reconciling monthly suppler statements

Processing bank and petty cash payments

Posting purchase invoices and credit notes

Processing staff expenses

Providing cover in other departments where necessary

Allocating supplier payments and sending remittances

Your experience and our requirements:

Experience of working within purchase ledger

Ability to pick up new packages and systems quickly

Excellent IT skills

Good analytical skills

Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
