About the role

We are looking for a Project Planning Coordinator to join us and work on a large scale management development programme, ensuring that project activities are completed in time and to budget. The Enhancing Management Capability (EMC) programme is a nationwide programme helping to raise overall management capability through development planning.

Reporting to the EMC Project Planning Manager, you will assist with all aspects of planning and the scheduling of communications events in line with the prescribed plan; including booking venues, rooms, arranging equipment and providing materials. You will be a main point of contact for managers in scope of the programme, in terms of sending invitations to attend and confirming assessment results. You will also liaise with external suppliers to source assessors and trainers for events.

In addition to the above, you will set up and monitor the EMC shared mail box and respond to queries efficiently. You will also be required to provide regular reports and updates to other senior stakeholders involved with the programme.

About you

With excellent planning and organisation skills, you will have a track record working in a fast paced environment and evidence of dealing with multiple tasks concurrently. You will have experience of working in a rigorous project management environment and good IT skills, including MS Excel. Working with attention to detail and accuracy are key to the role, and you will need a resilient and flexible attitude and will be results focussed.
