A fantastic opportunity has come up for a Support Engineer person to work in a global company with an exceptional team of 50+ across London and California. My client is one of the leading providers of cross-asset, front-to-back technology solutions for the financial markets (Hedge Funds and Top Tier Investment Banks). This is a unique opportunity to get exposure to all asset classes FO-BO process as well as all types of financial institutions. This is a client facing role so you would be responsible for supporting existing and new clients, taking ownership of customers issues reported and seeing problems through to solutions. You will also diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers install applications and programs.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to get an insight on how to build and maintain a large and state-of-the-art system for multiple financial companies (whether they are hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks or others). This is a fast paced environment working in a flat structure free of reporting non-sense. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a great attitude and communication skills whilst meeting and exceeding customers’ expectaions.

Requirement:

>5 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar roleHands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.Net/ Microsoft CertifiedExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsBS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
