A new opportunity for an Assistant Accountant has arisen due to retirement. Working within a close-knit team environment, this position offers variety, a comfortable working environment and flexible working arrangements including an early finish on Fridays!
Your duties would include:
- All aspects of purchase ledger including coding and managing the monthly payment run
- Sales ledger, responsible for raising invoices and dealing with any related queries
- Assisting in month end activities including cash book journal entries and accruals
- Completion of VAT returns
To be considered for this role you should have solid experience in an accounts administration role, comfortable in all aspects of accounting ideally to trial balance. Proven ability to juggle a varied role is important and AAT qualification is desirable.
