Senior Customer Insight Analyst - Central London - £Competitive Salary & Benefits - J9821

Excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded retail client as a Senior Customer Insight Analyst in their Corporate team and have a real impact on achieving business goals whilst simultaneously benefiting from a truly support working environment.

• Be passionate about customer insight and be able to demonstrate and convey a thorough understanding of the customers; their behaviours, characteristics and relationship with the organisation
• Develop a thorough and detailed understanding of the Customer Database (PCD) data model - table structures and data definitions; how the data was collected and its sufficiency and accuracy
• Analyse project briefs and design and the most appropriate analysis approach to adopt for each project
• Extract, prepare, analyse and interpret large data sets in order to undertake statistical evaluation
• Apply the most appropriate statistical techniques to meet the business objectives for the project (such as segmentation, propensity and CHAID modelling, regression analysis etc.)
• Convert all customer analyses and insights into actionable recommendations that inform and support the commercial goals and objectives specified in the brief
• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations of findings and recommendations to key stakeholders ensuring these communications are tailored appropriately to the audience
• Establish and build effective working relationships with stakeholders
• Agree achievable deadlines and milestones for analysis projects and manage expectations with respect to deliverables and timescales
• Delegate responsibility for customer analysis tasks to the Customer Insight Analysts according to workload, priorities, resource availability and technical competencies of the team
• Supervise the team to undertake analyses and recommendations that are within the context of the agreed commercial goals and objectives
• Guide and support Analysts to prioritise and manage their day-to-day workload

Key experience and skills required:
• BSc in Mathematics, Statistics or related subject
• Proven demonstrable experience of working with customer data to create insight within a transactional data intensive environment
• First class data manipulation and analytical skills
• Advanced user to SAS Base, Enterprise Guide and Miner
• Senior stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Proven experience of resolving complex business issues with commercial goals and objectives
• Project Management
• Team supervision and the ability to mentor and grow Analysts
• Retail experience useful but not essential
