Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting a Revenue Recognition Manager for one of the fastest growing Technology Companies in the world. Our client has grown 30% year on year for the last five years and is now one the leading US IT companies globally. Due to this continued growth we are looking to recruit additional Revenue Recognition Accountants for their EMEA HQ based in Reading.
You will review and summarise customer agreements and letters with non-standard terms impacting revenue recognition.
Ensure deals are accretive for the Company based on gross margin targets and within the company's revenue recognition policy.
Provide technical revenue recognition expertise under ASC 985-605 and related non-software revenue recognition guidelines (ASC 605-25) to the sales organisation and other functional teams.
Completion of Revenue Recognition Checklists and Accounting memos.
Deals margin analyses and supporting the sales organisation in deal structuring.
Review and approve specific gross margin deals and discount extensions.
You will make sure financial policies are followed while applying strong financial integrity and control.
The successful Revenue Recognition specialist will be ideally degree qualified (or equivalent work experience) with proven relevant experience. An accounting qualification is preferred.
Knowledge of software revenue recognition (ASC 985-605) and related non-software revenue recognition guidelines (ASC 605-25) is highly desirable.
You must be able to thrive in a dynamic, high growth environment while maintaining utmost integrity and be able to deal with quickly changing priorities. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of sales and work well cross-functionally with legal, Sales Ops.
