We are currently working with a Well Established, National Organisation who are looking to bring on board a Press and Communications Officer to be a key member of the Engagement, Inclusion and Development team

In this role you will: -
*Assist the Communications Manager with the development and delivery of the communications plans
*Draft engaging and appropriate copy for the website, press releases, social media profiles, internal briefings, newsletters and communications mechanisms
*Build and maintain relationships with key journalists
*Help to manage and maintain an up to date proactive PR planning grid
*Arrange and commission appropriate photography, design and print services
*Support the co-ordination of events, materials and activity to support the delivery of the communications plan
*Respond quickly, accurately and positively to staff inquiries

The right candidate will possess the following attributes: -
*Good knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis

*Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area

*Excellent written & verbal communication skills when disseminating complex information

*Problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands
