The Business

Risk Consultancy Software is made up of two parts, the Consultants and the Software Developers. The Software Development Team create market leading software in the Life and Property and Casualty markets that is used by the top 20 insurers in the UK. The Operations Team support nearly every aspect of the delivery of this software.

The Role

An initial 12 month fixed term contract position.

Overall objective

To provide excellent administrative support to the Client Support Coordinators.


  • To manage incoming emails via the internal workflow system and allocate them to the correct co-ordinator.

  • To review outstanding queries and escalate where necessary

  • To keep team review spreadsheets up to date

  • To assist with the distribution of new software releases, trial software and mailshots, as required.

  • To assist the co-ordinator with the distribution activities, such as creating and despatching software copy protection keys.

  • To create new user accounts for clients on the client software portal.

  • To assist the co-ordinator with the distribution activities, such as creating and despatching software invoices.

  • To assist in the distribution of letters relating to new releases of software and pricing indexation, involving carrying out mail merges and checking of data.

  • To support the Coordinators by proactively following up on client software trials and general enquiries from clients and consultants.

  • To assist the co-ordinator in chasing relevant tax forms (HMRC).

  • To co-ordinate with the Software Support to ensure that client gets a follow up once a licence or software product is released.

  • To process annual renewal licence extensions and raise annual renewal invoices.

  • To arrange and to liaise with Towers Watson consultants regarding progress on matters and escalate as necessary.

The Requirements

The essential skills/experience for this position are:

  • Organised and methodical with an eye for detail

  • IT literate and interested in learning to use new systems

  • Keen to learn, proactive, flexible and able to prioritise

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience of an Administration or data processing environment

  • Highly organised with the ability to monitor and manage multiple tasks

  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word, numerate and an eye for detail.
