Billing and Accounts Administrator

Location: Croydon, South London

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum DoE

Duties of the Billing and Accounts Administrator:

  • Processing monthly/quarterly billing data in a timely manner for devices on contract or rental
  • Contact clients to obtain meter readings
  • Check all invoices are accurate before dispatch
  • Produce and analyse customer reports
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve issues
  • Provide assistance with trend analyses and forecasting
  • Assist with credit control

Requirements of the Billing and Accounts Administrator:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Finance department (ideally within a service company)
  • Level 3 AAT or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Experience in using a contract billing system (preferable)
  • Working knowledge of Sage (desirable)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (in particular Excel)
  • Strong communication skills & confident telephone manner
  • Ability to manipulate large volumes of data using our service billing system
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
