With offices across the UK, a job at Mears could be just around the corner.Exciting opportunities have now arisen for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our team to cover various locations within Yorkshire; Harrogate, Bradford, Halifax, Leeds, Huddersfield and Sheffield.Within this role, you will provide a comprehensive gas maintenance and installation service within domestic premises, which will be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations, standards and departmental procedures.You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing central heating boilers and other heat producing appliances relevant to the contract as well as maintaining and repairing the ancillary equipment associated with central heating installations such as pumps, tanks, valves and water pipework.In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you are gas qualified and hold current Domestic ACS in the categories of work required. You will have completed your NVQ2 and NVQ3 in plumbing and heating, will be gas safe registered and will possess installation experience.With appropriate experience of working in the Gas Industry in relation to the installation and maintenance of gas appliances, you will be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the safety procedures required to carry out the work, and will also have the ability to understand and interpret work instructions, drawings and work in line with our current standards.The successful candidate must be resident in HG, BD, HX, LS, HD or S postcode area.Please refer to the full job description upon applyingCandidates for this role must hold a full valid UK Driving LicenceOnce you join the family, you'll have online access to a range of voluntary and flexible benefits, including...
