Sales Ledger Manager
Page Personnel is currently recruiting a Sales Ledger Manager on behalf of a leading manufacturing business based in East Leeds.
This well established manufacturing business are UK market leaders in their field, they have offices throughout the UK and a fantastic opportunity has come available for the Sales Ledger Manager to join their successful Finance team based in East Leeds.
The successful Sales Ledger Manager will report directly into the Financial Controller and will oversee a team of seven Credit Controllers and Billing Clerks.
They will be responsible for, but not limited to; managing a team of seven (including setting KPIs, regular 121s and appraisals), setting up and maintaining processes and procedures internally to ensure aged debt is kept to a minimum, allocating payments in a timely manner, chasing overdue payments via telephone and email, reporting to Senior Management and other ad hoc duties when required.
The successful Sales Ledger Manager will have:
- A background in Sales Ledger Management / Credit Management
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Previously managed an Accounts Receivable team
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
