As Marketing Communications Coordinator you will report directly to the Marketing Manager. As part of the marketing communications team, you will play a day to day hands on role whilst also contributing to the development and implementation of effective marketing communications plans. The requirements of the job will be many and varied, commensurate with the needs of a high growth business. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Developing, implementing and managing the social media strategy
  • Writing appropriate social media content including sourcing relevant material
  • Effectively and accurately promoting the Company brand in line with Key Business Objectives
  • Content marketing and blogging
  • Established experience in digital marketing including SEO
  • Digital evaluation including Google analytics and Site Improve
  • Producing and evaluating campaigns on the in-house digital e-marketing platform
  • Project management of a wide variety of projects on time and to budget
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager with a variety of marketing communications projects and tactical marketing campaign work
  • Working closely with the Business Development team to effectively promote courses using all platforms and through email broadcast
  • Managing IP and Copyright policy in conjunction legal advisors
  • Researching content using Feedly and RSS feeds

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Proven ability to write effectively and creatively for different marketing and media using appropriate 'tone of voice’ for different target audiences/sectors
  • Proven use of digital marketing and social media tools
  • Knowledge of e-marketing systems, ideally Campaign Monitor, Gleam, Mailchimp and Meltwater and Meltwater Engage
  • Google adwords qualification/relevant experience
  • Experience in Adobe Cloud including; Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Experience of producing Digital artwork
  • Good writing skills and able to contribute to PR / press articles
  • Experience of managing IP and Copyright policy and infringements
  • Proven experiencing in executing high engagement Social Media campaigns across digital platforms such as; Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Twitter and Pinterest
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships amongst internal and external customers
  • Good organisational, time management and project management skills
  • Experience of working within the education/training industry desirable

This is a full time permanent position. Employment will be subject to a satisfactory outcome of a check by the DBS.
