Full Time

Our client is a growing and ever developing business with easily accessible offices based in Huntingdon.

They are currently going through a sustained period of growth and development and as a result are looking to add some bright trainees to their team.

Previous experience of payroll is not necessary, but a keen eye for detail, the ability to take instruction and learn new skills are essential attributes.

With time, you will be taught the principles of payroll including manual calculations. You will be given full training on the provision of payroll services, providing advice to a wide variety of clients and will ultimately assume your own portfolio of clients.

The role will grow and you responsibilities will eventually include;

Inputting payroll data and balancing reports
Processing statutory forms and ensuring compliance with auto enrolment
Completing monthly returns
Handling queries and resolving as appropriate
Ad hoc duties

As this is a trainee opportunity, the successful candidate does not need any previous experience of payroll, but a strong academic background is essential.

A B or above in Maths or Further Maths GCSE and grades at A - C in other subjects are essential. If you are a recent graduate, you will have studied towards a relevant qualification and will ideally have achieved a 2:1 or above.

Essential attributes include a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills and good IT skills. Good customer service skills are also essential, as this is working in a service industry and client is king.

A competitive package including full study support will be in offer to the successful candidate alongside a career with one of Huntingdon's premier employers.

Interviews will be taking place in the next week, so send your CV for immediate consideration if this feels like the role for you.
