This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Senior Group Risk Manager to join us on a permanent basis, at our office in Leeds.

As part of our Group Risk & Compliance function you will work with our Director of Risk & Compliance in the design and delivery of an enhanced Risk Management Framework for MPS.

This is an exciting time in the organisation's history and this role will play a pivotal part in MPS's evolution and growth.

As the Senior Group Risk Manager you will partner with MPS business areas to help identify and assess their risks, and have appropriate controls and action in plans in place. You will aid in the development and maintenance of risk policies and procedures, and provide key risk reports to governance forums including the Chief Executive and Audit & Risk Committee.

Interested candidates must possess previous demonstrable risk management experience within the regulated Financial Services industry, preferably insurance, with a strong affiliation to Operational, Conduct and Compliance Risk.

Detailed knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management and its practical application is essential.

You will preferably be degree educated, although this is not a prerequisite, with qualifications in risk management or associated field highly desirable. Additionally you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels with the ability and confidence to challenge where appropriate.
